Our organization seeks a dedicated and compassionate nurse to provide one-on-one care to children with complex needs in their own homes.

• Administer medication as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
• Manage seizure conditions, including the administration of buccal midazolam if required.
• Oversee nebulizer management to ensure optimal respiratory health.
• Provide pain management strategies tailored to individual needs.
• Care for children with complex needs or disabilities, prioritizing their comfort and well-being.
• Ensure safe airway management to prevent respiratory complications.
• Perform suctioning procedures as needed.
• Manage stoma care to maintain patient dignity and comfort.
• Handle patients with care, utilizing hoists and re-positioning techniques to prevent injury.
• Monitor skin integrity to prevent breakdown and promote healing.

The ideal candidate will possess prior experience working one-on-one with children in their own homes, demonstrating empathy and reliability. They should be capable of working independently and making sound judgments in high-pressure situations.

• Hold a current ABA/NMBI pin.
• Demonstrate previous experience working with children.
• Be willing to upskill and develop new competencies.
• Undergo Garda Vetting as a condition of employment.
• Register with the INMO or an affiliated union.
• Possess a full driving license or have a reliable commute plan.
