As a Database Engineer Advocate, you will be responsible for providing expert-level support to our customers on database-related issues. This includes troubleshooting and resolving complex problems, as well as providing guidance on best practices for database administration and maintenance.
Our ideal candidate has a strong understanding of database engines, including MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, SQL Server, and Amazon Aurora. They should also have experience with database installation processes, relevant database clients, and database engine agnostic fundamentals.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
2 to 4 years of relevant experience. Knowledge/experience in Database troubleshooting and performance tuning. Knowledge/experience in setting up monitoring/alarming for production DB environments. Database migration and ETL knowledge/experience. Experience with NoSQL technologies like DynamoDB, Redis, MongoDB, Cassandra or Riak.
