About the job:

  • We are seeking a skilled AI Model Evaluation Specialist to develop and implement evaluation frameworks for AI models across their lifecycle—pre-training, post-training, and inference.
  • Your role will focus on designing metrics, creating benchmarking datasets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure models meet high standards of responsiveness, efficiency, and reliability in real-world applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy evaluation frameworks assessing accuracy, latency, throughput, and memory footprint.
  • Create high-quality datasets and benchmarks for evaluating model robustness.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and data science teams to align evaluation metrics with business goals.
  • Analyze evaluation data to identify bottlenecks and optimize model performance and resource utilization.
  • Research and refine evaluation methodologies, staying updated on emerging trends to enhance benchmarking practices.

Qualifications include:

  • A degree in Computer Science or related fields.
  • Preferably a PhD in NLP or Machine Learning.
  • Proven experience in AI model evaluation.
  • Strong programming skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Familiarity with performance metrics and benchmarking pipelines is essential.
