Job Overview
News Corporation is seeking a skilled Senior Financial Accountant to oversee day-to-day accounting operations. This role will be responsible for managing the monthly and quarterly close process, general ledger reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Main Responsibilities
1. Manage finance and accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with company policies and procedures.
2. Own and develop financial systems, processes, and internal controls for continuous improvement.
3. Partner with the Commercial Finance team on annual budgeting, leading the preparation of financial statements and liaising with external auditors.
4. Ensure statutory, tax, and other compliance returns are completed on time, managing the entity-level controls SOX program.

Requirements
ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified, with 4+ years PQE in fast-growing companies, ideally within the technology or media space. Strong understanding of US GAAP and FRS102, advanced Excel skills, and experience with financial systems.
