About the Role

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our Outreach Team as Volunteers for the NASA Space Apps Challenge Athlone. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a global hackathon that tackles some of the world's biggest challenges using tech, creativity, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Campus Ambassadors Manager: Recruit and manage end-to-end life cycle of Campus Ambassadors, develop and execute outreach strategies to leverage them from Institutions across Ireland.
  • Partnerships Manager: Develop and execute outreach strategies to secure local and global partners, manage their end-to-end life cycle.
  • Sponsorships Manager: Lead sponsorship outreach efforts to convert sponsors, ensuring financial and resource success of HackAthlone 2025.
  • Judges Manager: Identify, recruit, and manage experienced professionals from academia, start-up or venture capital space to serve as judges.
  • Mentors Manager: Manage end-to-end closing of Mentors from academia, start-up or venture capital space.

Requirements
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong sales and business development skills are a plus but not mandatory.
  • Prior experience in event coordination, outreach, sponsorships, or partnership management is mandatory.
  • A commitment to dedicate time from June through October.
  • Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus.
