Audit Assistant Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to fill a key role within our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial performance of the team, leading teams on audits, and providing technical auditing assistance to clients and team members.

About the Role
  • This is a senior-level position that requires strong leadership skills and experience in audit management.
  • The ideal candidate will have ACA or ACCA qualifications and 4+ years of PQE, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality audit results.
Main Responsibilities
  1. Assist with managing the team's financial performance, ensuring accurate and timely completion of audit tasks.
  2. Manage client expectations and serve as the primary point-of-contact for all audit-related matters.
  3. Lead teams on audit planning, execution, and completion, utilizing expertise in auditing standards and procedures.
  4. Provide technical auditing and accounting assistance to clients and team members, leveraging knowledge of ISA's and accounting standards FRS100 to FRS102.
  5. Participate in staff coaching, mentoring, and appraisal, contributing to the development and growth of team members.
Requirements
  • ACA or ACCA Qualified
  • 4 years+ PQE
  • Knowledge of ISA's and accounting standards FRS100 to FRS102
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
