Job Description

The Digital Assets team is responsible for editing, encoding and timely delivery of all Video on Demand content for our website and platforms across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Creation of assets and metadata input into the Content Management System
  • Monitoring deliveries through various stages - from metadata creation to appearance on platforms, addressing issues when required
  • Developing strong relationships with platform partners to address file failures and ensure complete file deliveries
  • Closely monitoring VOD platforms to ensure accurate content representation and addressing inconsistencies
  • Liaising with the Commercial Department to address advertising partner requests accurately and timely
  • Monitoring customer enquiries and resolving/escalating user issues
  • Collaborating with the development team and internal tech team to log technical issues as they arise
  • Developing strong working relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Generating creative concepts for VOD, aligned with key messages and major initiatives
  • Managing VOD Box Set campaigns from encoding and delivery to presentation on platforms and promotion on social media
  • Delivering campaigns across multiple platforms in collaboration with the Ad Operations team
  • Managing the encoding, delivery and promotion of commercially produced VOD campaigns on Virgin Media Player
  • Publishing content to the website, adding new information as required
  • Media Asset Management
  • Writing concise, eye-catching, on-brand and innovative copy for the B2B website
