About the Job

This position involves designing and testing analog and digital circuitry on sophisticated printed circuit board assemblies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in microprocessors, analog circuitry for theoretical analysis circuit level, board level simulation, and experience with building blocks for modular systems.

Main Responsibilities
  • Participate in new and existing product development efforts from concept to implementation.
  • Lead a team of electronic engineers to achieve project goals.
  • Drive circuit-level hardware design phases, including architecture and design, component selection, schematic entry, board bring-up, and integration of sophisticated printed circuit board and cable assemblies into systems/instruments.
  • Effectively work with multi-functional teams, including software, mechanical design, and system engineering, aligning with the project schedule and budget through different phases of the product lifecycle.
  • Evaluate and implement designs to ensure that all agency requirements are being met throughout the design process.
Requirements

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
  • At least 5 years' experience as an Electronics Engineer designing and testing both analog and digital circuitry on sophisticated printed circuit board assemblies.
  • Strong digital and analog circuit design background that includes microprocessors, analog circuitry for theoretical analysis circuit level, board level simulation, and experience with building blocks for modular systems.
  • Proficient design skills and tools for crafting schematics, board layouts, and simulations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and comfortable working in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-analysis and problem-solving skills.
