High-Tech Innovation Leader
About the RoleThe successful candidate will direct a team to develop technologies that drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Structure and resource the R&D team to deliver programmes on time.
- Promote a culture of technical innovation and knowledge leadership in the field.
- Maintain effective communication channels with management and engineering teams.
- Work closely with strategic marketing and commercial functions to define patient and user needs.
- Direct innovation and knowledge capabilities towards creating technological value for the business.
- Proactively manage project technical risks and implement mitigation measures.
- Promote a quality culture across the R&D team.
- Support clinical and commercial teams in executing business programmes while building relationships with key opinion leaders.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, Electrical, or Materials Engineering.
- At least 10 years of experience in the medical device industry at a management and leadership level.
- Understands team dynamics and has experience building high-performing teams.
- Excellent written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Experience in developing complex medical devices and delivering results in challenging settings.
