Amgen is hiring a Senior Process Systems Engineer to support the design and implementation of new Formulation and Component Preparation areas as part of a new Fill Finish Facility.

The selected candidate will work closely with the Engineering Technical Authority (ETA) to lead the design for critical projects, providing technical expertise and direction across Amgen's global operations network.

This position is part of the ETA organization that includes Process Systems, Facilities and Utilities, Site Project Engineering, and other engineering technical functions.

The Senior Process Systems Engineer will report to the Engineering Technical Lead for the project, who is also a member of the ETA.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the design and implementation of process systems, including equipment selection and installation.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop project requirements and specifications.
  • Reviewing and approving designs and plans submitted by contractors and vendors.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Providing technical guidance and support to project teams.

The successful candidate will have experience in process systems engineering, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.

A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, combined with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, is required.

Prior experience working with computer-aided design (CAD) software and project management tools is highly desirable.
