About This Role

We are seeking an experienced Event Driven Research Specialist to partner with senior analysts and traders in identifying investment opportunities in the equity or options market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and track special situations such as mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate actions.
  • Identify and analyze upcoming events that may impact stock prices.
  • Provide real-time insights on breaking news and its potential effects on the market.
  • Collaborate with traders to develop and implement investment strategies.
  • Analyze financial data and perform stock valuation studies.
Your Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in event driven research and analysis.
  • CFA or part-qualified CFA Candidate preferred.
  • Strong analytical, financial research, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
