Medical Support Specialist Role

The Medical Support Specialist is a key member of our healthcare team, responsible for assisting in the coordination of patient care under the supervision of a healthcare provider. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient care by preparing patients for examinations, taking vital signs, and documenting patient information.
  • Assist healthcare providers with examination and procedures, such as injections and phlebotomy.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, managing electronic health records, and communicating with patients and families.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including medication lists and patient histories.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and engagement.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare administration, medical sciences)
  • 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records software
