Are you a skilled accountant with a passion for delivering high-quality financial reports? We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an accountant.

The successful candidate will have strong technical expertise in accounting standards and a proven track record of preparing and reviewing financial statements, ensuring deadlines and compliance obligations are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Understand each fund's structure and tailor reporting accordingly
  • Apply relevant accounting frameworks (UK GAAP, IFRS, or US GAAP) to reporting processes
  • Set up reporting procedures for new fund entities
  • Guide and oversee bookkeeping and financial input by the administration team
  • Perform Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations
  • Liaise with clients and advisors to set expectations and agree delivery timelines
  • Present reports at board and client meetings, supporting discussions on financial matters
  • Coordinate with external auditors to ensure timely audit completion
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory and stock exchange obligations
  • Support team development through mentoring, training, and quality assurance
  • Contribute to internal process improvement, policy development, and new business proposals

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA or equivalent)
  • 2 years + in a similar role
  • Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting standards
  • Proven experience in the preparation of management and statutory accounts
  • Excellent communication skills, with confidence in presenting and client liaison
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Advanced Excel skills; comfortable working with multiple systems
