Role Overview:
The Unit Leader is a senior management position responsible for overseeing the Fund Accounting team, defining priorities, goals, and roadmap for the unit in line with organizational guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic vision within scope of responsibility, identifying required resources and means.
- Ensure successful outcome of activity plans.
Core Activities:Strategic Leadership:
- Define organization structure and distribution of roles & responsibilities.
- Manage budget and anticipate risks within scope of responsibility.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain quality of service.
- Represent the organization externally when necessary.
- Lead a team of managers / team managers, contributors, or a complex team (experts, multicultural, multi-country, multidisciplinary resources).
- Ensure permanent alignment between resources, organization, and activity objectives.
- Responsible for cost center budget (meet allocated budget).
- Monitor market stakes and client expectations.
- Propose new ideas and/or projects to improve activity performance or address new business challenges.
- Encourage ongoing review of process chains & prioritize proposals for process optimization.
- Integrate principles of code of conduct into activities.
- Establish measures to prevent, detect, and deter corrupt practices.
- Ensure compliance with policies, standards, and procedures.
- Apply CSR policy to activities.
