Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled freelance academic copy editor to work on a freelance basis. The successful candidate will have experience working with academic texts and copy editing or proofreading, with excellent writing and communication skills and an eye for detail.

The ideal candidate will be a native English speaker with a reliable and organised approach, having good fundamental copy editing skills and knowledge of academic referencing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work on academic books across STEM and HSS fields to ensure spelling and grammar is correct, style is consistent and the meaning is clear
