Job Title: VAT Manager

VAT Manager Overview
A senior professional is required to lead the VAT function within our client's organisation. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in indirect tax, preferably from a practice background.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage VAT issues across a diverse range of clients
  • Deliver tax projects and collaborate with stakeholders to achieve results
  • Provide regular reporting to senior management and tax partners
  • Lead the delivery of client liaison on a day-to-day basis
  • Develop new business opportunities through existing clients and winning new ones
Requirements:
  • Professional qualification such as AITI or similar Tax/Accountancy certification
  • At least 4 years indirect tax experience preferably from a practice environment
  • Strong technical skills with a willingness to continue developing them
  • Effective risk identification and review capabilities
  • Client-focused with commercial awareness
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients

This role requires an individual who is proactive, has excellent communication skills, and can work effectively in a team environment.
