AI Software Engineering is a critical component of our technology strategy. We are seeking a highly skilled Principal AI Software Engineer to join our team.
Azure Cognitive Services enables businesses to unlock the potential of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. As a Principal Technical Leader, you will set the technical direction for the organization in this area, and have hands-on software design and development skills.
This is an Individual contributor role that requires solving hard technical problems and tackling the hardest problems in building a full end-to-end AI stack.
An entrepreneurial approach and ability to take initiative and move fast are essential.

About the Role

We're looking for someone with a demonstrated history of developing and deploying large language models (LLMs). This includes training, fine-tuning, and applying LLMs in various natural language processing tasks. Experience with Deep Neural Network training and inference, as well as one or more deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, ONNX, etc.), is also required.

  • Technical background and solid foundation in software engineering principles and architecture design.
  • Ability to plan and influence technical designs on projects with long-term impact.
  • Proven experience in developing and deploying LLMs.
