About the Role
We're seeking a talented academic leader to join our institution as Professor and Head of School. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of pharmacy and biomolecular sciences education, research, and innovation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to the School, driving excellence in teaching, research, and professional practice. They will also contribute to the development of innovative curricula, collaborate with colleagues across disciplines, and foster partnerships with industry, government, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Providing strategic leadership and direction to the School, driving excellence in teaching, research, and professional practice;
* Developing and implementing innovative curricula that meet the needs of students, employers, and society;
* Collaborating with colleagues across disciplines to advance knowledge, practice, and policy in pharmacy and biomolecular sciences;
* Fostering partnerships with industry, government, and other stakeholders to promote the School's research, education, and engagement activities;
Requirements and Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must have a PhD or equivalent qualification in a relevant field, and a proven track record of academic leadership, research, and teaching experience. They should also possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and management skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
A strong publication record, evidence of successful grant capture, and a clear vision for the future of pharmacy and biomolecular sciences are essential. The ability to inspire and motivate others, and to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, is also critical.
