About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Medical Device Design Engineer to join our team in driving innovation and delivering cutting-edge medical devices. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of new medical devices, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and maintaining detailed documentation.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement design strategies that meet customer needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and test prototypes, optimising product performance through the selection of raw materials, components, and suppliers.
  • Provide technical guidance to junior team members to support knowledge-sharing and development within the organisation.
  • Conduct product and process evaluations to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous innovation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field is essential for this role.
  • 3+ years of experience in medical device design or a similar regulated industry is required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills are necessary to manage multiple projects effectively and achieve success in this role.
