As a skilled software engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality platforms and contribute to open-source projects. Our team is responsible for building and managing distributed systems that handle large volumes of traffic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with multi-functional engineering teams to deliver the platform and contribute to open-source projects.">
  • Design and implement network communication using container networking technologies.">
  • Develop and debug large-scale distributed systems with unparalleled observability.">
  • Contribute knowledge and experience of the networking topology (TCP and HTTP stack) to solve network-related issues encountered by the system.">
  • Work on building resilient distributed systems at eBay's edges that can proxy all eBay traffic and also eBay's service mesh.">
">Required Skills and Qualifications">

Skills:

">
  • Hands-on development experience with strong analytical skills.">
  • Familiarity and proven understanding of networking technologies like BGP, anycast, TCP/IP networking, and protocols such as TCP, UDP, SSL, and HTTP.">
  • Hands-on experience with programming languages like C/C++, GoLang, and Python.">
  • Distributed systems design and implementation experience.">
  • Excellent debugging and triaging skills.">
  • Strong expertise in agile development.">
