Job Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to join our care team in a nursing home in Sligo. This is a full-time permanent role that requires the ideal candidate to have at least 3 years post-registration experience in a relevant field and hold a recognized managerial qualification.
About the Role:- Lead a team of nurses to deliver high-quality person-centered care.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless delivery of care services.
- Maintain compliance with HIQA standards and Health Act regulations.
- Fluency in English language (verbal and written) and eligibility to work in Ireland.
- Registered Nurse on NMBI live register.
- Recognized managerial qualification (minimum level 6 on the National Framework of Qualifications).
- Clinical experience working in older persons care or nursing home care.
- Strong communication and listening skills.
- Familiarity with Assisted Decision-Making process.
- Able to work effectively as part of a care team.
- Caring and compassionate, passionate about delivering high-quality person-centered care.
- Basic knowledge of IT systems such as Excel spreadsheets.
- Understanding of applications for home supports and NHSS/Fair deal.
