Are you a highly skilled and reliable driver looking for a new challenge? As a bus driver with our company, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting passengers across the city.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and qualified bus driver to join our team. The successful candidate will have a valid Irish Category D licence and a Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.

As a bus driver, you will be responsible for:

  • Safely and reliably driving large passenger vehicles, strictly according to road regulations.
  • Following scheduled timetables, routes, stops, and adjusting when necessary.
  • Delivering outstanding customer service: greeting passengers, answering queries, assisting boarding/disembarking, supporting passengers with special needs.
  • Handling ticketing, payments, and issuing boarding passes or tickets where needed.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of vehicle interior and conducting routine pre-shift checks.
  • Keeping accurate logs: tachograph, fuel, mileage, maintenance, incident reporting.

You will also be expected to professionally manage passenger concerns or complaints; escalating serious incidents as necessary.

Required Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must hold the following qualifications:

  • A valid Irish Category D licence.
  • A Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
  • A digital tachograph card.
  • Eligibility to work in Ireland.
