Job Role Overview

Key Responsibilities and Expectations

This role requires a highly skilled and experienced nurse to take responsibility for a caseload of patients attending pre-assessment clinics. As a member of the healthcare team, you will work under the guidance and direction of senior nursing staff to ensure accurate planning and evaluating care for all patients.

  • Maintain high standards of patient care and safety.
  • Develop clinical expertise and leadership skills through evidence-based practice.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to manage patient care and maintain a safe environment.
  • Accurately complete all pre-assessment documentation in a timely manner.
  • Provide health promotion and patient advocacy services.
  • Work effectively as part of a team, communicating clearly and professionally.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Nursing Registration and Experience

To be successful in this role, you must be registered with the relevant division of the Nurses kept by NMBI and have experience working in a pre-assessment setting.

You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
