ServiceNow Platform Owner/Architect

This position is pivotal in supporting our existing ServiceNow platform with strategic oversight, leadership, and technical ownership. This role ensures the integrity, scalability, and consistency of our ITSM processes as we grow through mergers and acquisitions.

The ideal candidate will have a proven experience leading ServiceNow implementations and/or managing enterprise-scale platforms. They should possess deep knowledge of ServiceNow modules, architecture, and data model.

A strong understanding of ITIL processes and enterprise service management is also required. The successful candidate will be able to deliver complex, time-sensitive projects in a hybrid work environment.

  • Provide strategic leadership and technical ownership of the ServiceNow platform.

  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to determine how the ServiceNow platform can be leveraged to help reach organizational goals.

  • Oversee platform governance, including change management, release management, and compliance.

  • Define and maintain the ServiceNow roadmap aligned with enterprise IT strategy.

  • Lead the design and development (implementation where new) of ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM (including Cloud Provisioning & Governance), SAM, BCM, Now Assist, SecOps, and others.

  • Ensure platform performance, security, and data integrity across all modules.

  • Lead and mentor a team of ServiceNow developers and administrators.

  • Manage integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise platforms.

  • Monitor ServiceNow releases and innovations, and assess their applicability to the firm's environment.

  • Support M&A integration efforts by onboarding new entities into the ServiceNow ecosystem.

  • Support and guide the development and maintenance of platform documentation, standards, and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

We are seeking an experienced professional with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience. A minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years focused on ServiceNow platform ownership and architecture, is required.
