The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the well-being and quality of life of nursing home residents by planning, coordinating, and facilitating a variety of engaging activities.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and coordinate diverse activities including social outings, crafts, games, fitness programs, and special events.
- Promote resident participation in activities and encourage social interactions.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all residents during activities.
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff, caregivers, and family members about residents' participation and progress in activities.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to plan and coordinate activities that cater to diverse needs and interests.
- Creative mindset for developing innovative activity programs.
- Competitive salary based on a 39 hour-week.
