Your role will involve assessing, diagnosing, and treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions to help patients regain movement, reduce pain, and improve function.
Key duties include:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with MSK conditions, including injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain.
- Provide manual therapy techniques, including joint mobilizations, soft tissue therapy, and manipulations. Utilize modalities such as shockwave therapy, dry needling, electrotherapy, and taping where appropriate.
- Provide injury prevention advice to athletes, workers, and individuals at risk of MSK conditions.
- Assess and treat acute and chronic sports injuries, including sprains, strains, tendonitis, and fractures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes.
- Stay up to date with latest research and advancements in MSK physiotherapy.
