We are seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to join our team on a permanent contract basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the deployment and maintenance of our systems and services, including managing virtual infrastructure, physical servers, and appliances, as well as developing our network monitoring tools and systems. This role requires strong technical skills, including advanced knowledge of Linux system administration, scripting, and system troubleshooting.

Required Skills:

  • At least 4+ years' industry experience working in a similar role.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in Linux system administration (e.g. Ubuntu, CentOS) including file systems, configuration management, and networking.
  • Skills in scripting (Python, Bash, Perl) and system troubleshooting.
  • Experience of container maintenance and deployment (e.g. Docker, Swarm).
  • Familiarity with automation and configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet or Chef.
  • Experience with Linux system administration covering areas such as high availability, LAMP stacks, application support, scripting, troubleshooting and debugging.
  • Strong understanding of firewalls and load balancers.
  • Strong understanding of security best practices in system administration.
  • Good understanding of network and Internet protocols and infrastructure.
