Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the nursing team in the Orthopaedic Trauma department, ensuring that all staff members are working effectively and efficiently to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that reflect best practice and meet the needs of patients, staff, and the organization.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans, ensure accurate and timely documentation, and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide guidance, support, and supervision to junior staff members, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of new policies and procedures, and evaluating existing ones.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Clinical Nurse Manager or equivalent, preferably in an acute hospital setting.
  • Degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Current registration with the relevant nursing regulatory body.
  • Excellent clinical and leadership skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with patients, staff, and stakeholders.
