Job Description:

The Manager, Model Validation role plays a crucial part in ensuring models are fit for purpose and aligned with regulatory expectations.

As an independent oversight function, this position operates within the second line of defence to validate models used across CRS, including those involved in pricing new transactions and valuations.

The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal communication and written (report writing) skills
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Assertive and self-motivated, with an ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines
Required Skills & Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Actuarial qualification
  • At least 3-5 years working in an insurance or reinsurance environment
  • Proficiency in modelling tools such as R, Prophet, Excel/VBA
