Job Title: Experienced General Surgeon Wanted in Ireland

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced general surgeon to join our team in Ireland. As a leading healthcare provider, we offer the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team and contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform a broad range of general surgical procedures
  • Provide comprehensive preoperative and postoperative care to patients
  • Participate in on-call rota and emergency surgeries
  • Collaborate with medical, nursing, and health staff to ensure the highest standards of patient care
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical protocols and guidelines
  • Engage in teaching, training, and supervising junior medical staff and medical students
  • Participate in clinical audits, research, and continuous professional development

Requirements:
  • Active registration with the Irish Medical Council (IMC)
  • Fellowship or equivalent in General Surgery
  • Extensive experience in a broad range of general surgical procedures
  • Proven track record of excellence in clinical practice
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and education
