Container Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Container Engineer to support the creation and maintenance of Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform releases.

This role involves collaborating with global engineering teams to implement improvements, fix product defects, and proactively adopt Kubernetes community fixes.

About the Role:
  • Work closely with engineering teams to identify, prioritize, and implement updates to existing and upcoming releases.
  • FOLLOW open source Kubernetes community fixes in our software.
  • Collaborate with support organization and product engineering teams to determine suitable changes for existing releases.
  • Communicate updates and enhancements to support organization and customers.
Requirements:
  • Relevant container development experience with interest in Go programming language.
  • Familiarity with test-based development and agile methodologies.
  • Operating system expertise: Red Hat Enterprise Linux, CoreOS, Fedora.
  • Basic knowledge of OpenShift, containers, and Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of open source development models is a plus.
  • Prior open source community software development experience is highly valued.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
