About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for managing a client portfolio, leading on client engagements, and communicating between clients and partners. You will also have the opportunity to expand your people management skills and work with various clients across different industries.

The ideal candidate will have significant external audit experience gained within a professional services environment and a qualified accountant (ACA, CA, ACCA or other international qualification).

Responsibilities
  • Monitoring and guiding quality and managing risk at the engagement level.
  • Ensuring client expectations are exceeded by connecting the right team members to key client contacts.
  • Contributing to effective management of resources across the department.
  • Monitoring status of audit engagements and communicating status and audit findings to clients and engagement partners.
Requirements
  • A qualified accountant (ACA, CA, ACCA or other international qualification) with significant external audit experience.
  • Experience of business development activities such as preparation of proposal documents and attendance at networking events.
  • Previous experience in client portfolio handling.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of accounting and auditing standards, industry specifics and their application.
