At Amazon, we're looking for a highly motivated and best-in-class security professional to manage the physical security at our EMEA Non-Traditional Environment based in Oslo, Norway.

The selected individual will be responsible for managing the on-site operational physical security of our NTE Data Centers and will have a thorough knowledge of access control systems and process, guard force management, reporting security metrics, security audits and incident reporting.

You will also understand and maintain compliance requirements with international standards such as SOC1, SOC2 and ISO27001. Additionally, you will be responsible for the implementation of new processes and adherence to existing Amazon policy and procedure relating to security guarding, media security, CCTV monitoring and the protection of customer data.

As an NTE Security Manager, you will possess exceptional people management skills and build relationships with internal and external partners to maintain and enhance the security and safety of Amazon. You will coordinate physical security, investigations, risk/threat assessments and supervise employees and contractors performing specific security objectives.

A key part of this role is working with peers in other geographic regions and travel as required by Amazon. As a member of AWS Infrastructure Services, you will support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on.

You'll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers and other vital roles. Together, you'll collaborate to deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers.

To succeed in this role, you'll need to investigate site incidents and provide detailed reports, analyze situations and make quick decisions, formulate action plans and create concise and accurate security reports.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS include 5-7 years of security operations and at least 3 years in a leadership role, familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO 27001, working knowledge of video surveillance equipment and experienced training others in security procedures.
