Job Summary

We are currently recruiting a staff grade occupational therapist position on our newly developed mental health rotation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate groups and provide 1:1 assessment and intervention as well as family supports.
  • Develop and implement non-pharmacological interventions for older adults with chronic and enduring mental health disorders and comorbid physical health issues.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including music therapy, art therapy, and physiotherapy.

This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work flexibly in different service areas within Highfield Healthcare.

The post holder will be responsible for assessing and implementing individualized care plans, working closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to promote recovery and well-being.
