Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to install, maintain and repair gas appliances and systems in residential and commercial properties.

  • The successful candidate will conduct thorough inspections of gas installations to ensure compliance with safety standards.

  • In addition, the candidate will carry out heavy lifting when required ensuring proper techniques are used for safety.
  • Collaboration with other tradespeople is essential to complete projects efficiently.
  • Maintaining accurate records of work completed and materials used is also crucial.
  • The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their gas systems.
Ideal Candidate Requirements

We are looking for an individual with proven experience as a Gas Boiler Engineer.

  • A strong mechanical knowledge base with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively is essential.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently is required.
  • Basic maths skills for calculations related to installations and repairs are necessary.
  • The successful candidate must be able to perform heavy lifting as needed during installations or repairs.
  • Experience in commercial driving is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Certification in relevant gas safety regulations is required e.g. Gas Safe Register.
  • A proactive approach to health and safety practices within the workplace is expected.
