Key Responsibilities- Assist in the procurement of high-value contracts, ensuring alignment with client objectives and EU legislation.
- Develop procurement documents, including requirements, specifications, and contract terms.
- Support the Procurement Lead in overseeing procurements to maximize value for money and ensure compliance with EU directives.
- Strengthen relationships with contractors and consultants, engaging regularly to develop comprehensive knowledge and insights.
- 10+ years' relevant experience in complex procurement environments, with at least 5 years' experience leading procurement activities across project lifecycles.
- Experience working with EU Procurement Directives and other relevant EU directives.
- Tangible experience of advanced category management and developing strategic sourcing methodologies.
- In-depth understanding of technically complex project delivery requirements.
- Prior experience of procuring on behalf of public bodies.
