Financial Trainee

A successful Financial Trainee will play a pivotal role in our organization's financial operations. This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to develop their skills and contribute to the growth of our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements for clients, adhering to strict deadlines and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain complex Excel schedules and notes to support financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting principles.
  • Liaise effectively with external parties to address financial statement queries and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Present financial statements for review, providing clear explanations and recommendations for improvement.
  • Conduct thorough research on complicated transactions to ensure correct accounting treatment and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Hold a related Honours degree from a reputable institution.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proven ability to plan, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, exercising initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Possess industry experience in an accounting role, with knowledge of IFRS and GAAP accounting principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, with a strong understanding of its applications and limitations.
  • Hold a legal right to work in Ireland.
