Senior Physiotherapist Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Senior Physiotherapist in a collaborative interdisciplinary team providing services to children from 0-18 years and families accessing the Children's Disability Network Team.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist to lead in key areas of service development, including developing care pathways for children with Physical Disabilities.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  •     Provide evidenced-based Physiotherapy intervention, including 24-hour postural management and orthotic assessment.
  •     Lead in key areas of service development, including developing care pathways for children with Physical Disabilities.
  •     Opportunities to provide hydrotherapy and equine therapy through our network are available.
Requirements
  • Physiotherapy qualification recognised by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU.
  • 3 years minimum post-qualifying experience.
  • Experience of 24-hour postural management and orthotic assessment.
  • Experience of working with Families & Children.
  • Experience of working in the area of Disabilities.

The ability to manage and prioritize a busy caseload, and work in an inter-disciplinary way using a family-centered practice approach are key requirements of the role.
