We are seeking a seasoned leader to oversee the development of battery management and powertrain systems at the forefront of electrification technology. This role demands exceptional technical expertise, outstanding leadership skills, and a passion for innovation.

Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity for a visionary Systems Architect to lead a high-performing team in designing cutting-edge solutions for the automotive industry. You will be responsible for steering the team through the development process, ensuring seamless collaboration with software development, system test, and applications teams.

  • Leverage your expertise in systems engineering to develop innovative products that meet customer expectations
  • Build and scale a high-performing team of System Architects, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project planning, quality, and test strategies
  • Manage team budgets, career development, and performance reviews, promoting growth and retention
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and customer architectures, providing thought leadership and strategic guidance
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • 10+ years of experience in systems engineering, preferably in the automotive sector, with at least 5+ years in a managerial position
  • A proven track record of building and scaling engineering teams, demonstrating strong leadership skills
  • Experience in developing complex software/system products, with a focus on ASPICE process flow and work products
  • Strong knowledge of system engineering and product lifecycle management, including familiarity with SysML and tools like Enterprise Architect
  • Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to articulate and present concepts to customers and stakeholders
  • Experience in automotive powertrain systems, including inverter, on-board charger, or high-voltage Lithium-ion BMS, is an advantage
  • Experience with cybersecurity and AI/ML software development is also an advantage
