Senior Speech and Language Therapist

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Speech and Language Therapist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to work with children and adolescents enrolled on the Children's Disability Network Teams (CDNT) across various settings.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing speech and language services, including assessment and intervention, to children and adolescents with complex needs arising from a disability. They will work as part of an interdisciplinary team to deliver services in accordance with legislative and service delivery frameworks and requirements.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with a range of disabilities or developmental delays and their families. They will also possess relevant current experience prescribing and monitoring equipment based on children's needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing speech and language services to children and adolescents enrolled on the CDNT
  • Working as part of an interdisciplinary team to deliver services
  • Assessing and intervening with children and adolescents with complex needs arising from a disability
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate will hold a degree in Speech and Language Therapy and be registered or eligible for registration on the Speech Therapists Register maintained by the Speech and Language Therapist Registration Board at CORU. They will also have three years full-time post-qualification clinical experience and the requisite knowledge and ability to discharge the duties of the office.
