Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our Adult Safeguarding team at Medforce. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for promoting the safety, well-being, and dignity of vulnerable adults.

Your primary duties will include conducting thorough assessments, developing and implementing safeguarding plans, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure effective care and protection services.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify safeguarding needs and risks for adults.
  • Develop tailored safeguarding plans that meet individual needs and preferences.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure seamless coordination of care and protection services.
  • Advocate for individuals' rights and interests, promoting their independence and autonomy.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in line with regulatory and organizational requirements.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support on adult safeguarding to colleagues and partner organizations.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with national safeguarding policies, standards, and procedures.

Essential Requirements:

  • Registered Social Worker with CORU.
  • Background in adult safeguarding, social work, or a related field.
  • Thorough understanding of safeguarding legislation, policies, and best practices.
  • Exceptional communication, assessment, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with individuals and families.
  • Commitment to upholding adult rights, dignity, and autonomy.
