Head of Residential Care

Matrix Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Director of Nursing to join our team in North Dublin. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers the opportunity to lead a well-supported care team and take ownership of clinical governance and operational excellence.
This role will suit a nurse leader with strong management skills, a passion for quality care, and a clear understanding of HIQA standards. You will be supported by centralised teams in HR, finance, and quality. Key duties and responsibilities include:
- Leading and managing all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the residential care facility
- Overseeing compliance with all regulatory requirements, including HIQA standards
- Mentoring and supporting clinical and non-clinical staff, promoting a high-performing, team-based culture
- Monitoring care plans and resident outcomes, ensuring best practice in person-centred care
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications and skills:
- NMBI Registered General Nurse (PIN must be active and in good standing)
- Minimum 3 years' management experience within the last 6 years in older person care
- A recognised management qualification in healthcare or related field
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
