Job Title: Skilled Nursing Professional

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled nursing professional to join our team on a temporary maternity cover contract. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced nurse to make a real difference in the lives of our residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve equitable treatment for all residents based on their individual needs and preferences.
  • Ensure that all resident care records are accurate, up-to-date, and reflective of their current situation.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, multidisciplinary teams, and staff to foster positive relationships and promote person-centered care.
  • Coordinate resident care and interventions from other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure a collaborative approach.
  • Plan, organize, carry out, and evaluate resident care procedures tailored to each individual within established best practices.
  • Take responsibility for ensuring that care plans are person-centered, taking into account the resident's current situation, goals, and preferences.
  • Perform all nursing procedures in accordance with the resident's agreed-upon care plan and their individual needs.
  • Ensure the safe storage and administration of medications.
  • Take ownership of providing high-quality, effective nursing care that meets the needs and expectations of our residents.

Requirements:

  • Nursing registration with the NMBI.
  • A minimum of one to two years' experience in nursing.
  • Proficiency in the English language.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including casual hours.
  • Permission to work in Ireland.
  • Required candidates: EU, Irish, and Stamp 4 only.
