Audit Professional required for a leading firm of Accountants and Business Advisers operating across Ireland, the UK, and the Nordics.
The Role:
This role will be based in the Audit department in Dublin office and will report into senior audit leadership team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Complete audit fieldwork/planned substantive and analytical audit procedures on site at client premises.
- Assist in planning and completing audit assignments, ensuring audit files have appropriate and sufficient documentation.
- Prepare statutory financial statements from client data, highlighting high-level risk areas or matters of concern to Partner/Manager.
- Plan execution and finalization of audit assignments for Partner/Manager review.
- Deliver highest quality auditing services to clients.
- Collaborate as part of team to plan engagement objectives and audit strategy that complies with professional standards and addresses risk appropriately.
- Develop and maintain proactive working relationships with audit clients, ensuring they are informed and satisfied throughout year.
- Research and solve technical queries from clients.
- Prepare and review financial statements in full compliance with Irish GAAP.
- Manage successful completion of audit engagements.
- Act as approved mentor to junior audit team members.
Requirements:
- Fully qualified in ACA or ACCA qualifications.
- At least 3 years' experience working in practice.
- Passion to provide best client experience.
- Excellent attention to detail and technical skills.
- Knowledge of business trends and emerging technical and industry developments.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective and motivated team player.
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines.
- Self-starter who can critically analyze and assess information.
