About the Role- This position requires a deep understanding of complex data, including telemetry and business logic.
We are looking for an individual who lives and breathes data. The successful candidate will understand the business logic behind the data, and be deeply attuned to patterns, nuances, and behaviours in the data, with a keen ability to recognise when something doesn't look right.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor complex data within our system to detect anomalies.
- Conduct investigations to determine the root cause of anomalies within the data and other data quality issues.
- Establish data quality rules, policies, and frameworks to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
- Develop automated data validation and anomaly detection systems.
- Set up threshold-based alerts for unexpected changes in data distribution.
- Identify opportunity for process improvements that enhance data quality.
- Implement approved process improvements as required.
- Provide recommendations to product team for improvement to the platform so that complex data is more accessible and easier to understand.
- Use data visualisation tools (Looker) to provide customised dashboards for customers.
- When required, participate in strategic customer calls as a Compliance Data SME, presenting findings and insights to key stakeholders.
