Field Service Technician Role

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and technically savvy individual to work independently while collaborating with our office and project teams.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out leak detection and surveying tasks on-site as part of our Leak Reduction Programme. This will involve using problem-solving skills to identify issues and reporting accurate findings. Site visits and inspections must be completed efficiently and professionally, with detailed and clear findings reported back to the line manager.

This role requires strong work ethic, ability to work on your own initiative, and basic knowledge of construction or groundworks. Previous experience in leak detection is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. The ideal candidate will also possess basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office skills, and good communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out leak detection and surveying tasks on-site
  • Use problem-solving skills to identify issues and report accurate findings
  • Complete site visits and inspections efficiently and professionally
  • Report detailed and clear findings back to the line manager
  • Work independently in the field while adhering to health and safety protocols
Requirements
  • Full clean driver's licence
  • Basic knowledge of construction or groundworks
  • Previous experience in leak detection (advantageous)
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work on your own initiative
  • Basic computer literacy - Microsoft Office skills
  • Good communication and reporting skills
