Advanced Concrete Specialist

The Precast Engineer will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and executing precast concrete systems on large-scale projects.
Main Responsibilities:
- Design Development: Create precast concrete components for commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects.
- Structural Calculations: Provide detailed calculations and analysis for precast elements to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and manufacturers to deliver precast systems efficiently.
- Design Documentation: Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Quality Control: Monitor the production and installation of precast components to ensure quality and project specifications are met.
- Site Inspections: Conduct site visits to inspect precast installations and resolve any engineering issues that arise.
- Project Management: Work with project managers to ensure designs are delivered on time and within project requirements.
- BIM Implementation: Utilize BIM tools for project design and coordination.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in precast engineering or structural design.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of precast concrete systems, materials, and construction methods.
- Software Proficiency: Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis tools.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with building codes and standards relevant to precast concrete.
- Communication & Teamwork: Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Project Management: Project management experience, with a focus on delivering high-quality results within project timelines.
Desirable Skills:
- International Experience: Experience working on international projects.
- Sustainable Practices: Knowledge of sustainable construction practices and materials.
- Chartered Status: Chartered Engineer status or working towards it.
