Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Buyer to join our team in Ireland. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with steep learning curves and contribute to the healthcare of patients worldwide.

About the Role:

  • Manage the procurement process for multiple manufacturing sites, ensuring accurate and timely orders aligned with production schedules.
  • Monitor demand signals to avoid shortages and adjust procurement activity as needed.
  • Use historical trends and current forecasts to make informed, proactive adjustments to supply plans.
  • Apply data insights to improve material availability and procurement strategies.
  • Evaluate and optimize the Procure-to-Pay cycle, from requisition through payment.
  • Troubleshoot issues quickly to minimize disruptions.
  • Maintain optimal raw material inventory, supporting production while minimizing excess, slow-moving, and obsolete materials.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent; supply chain or operations degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in business, ideally supporting multi-site or shared service environments.
  • Strong analytical skills to support planning and procurement decisions.
  • Deep understanding of procure-to-pay processes and procurement efficiency.
  • Experience sourcing materials for production with cost and quality focus.
