Lead Embedded Systems Software Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Embedded Software Developer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will play a key part in the design, development, and integration of embedded software for R&D in a leading device company.
About the Role:You will work as part of a cross-functional team, contributing to firmware development, system design, and hardware development of a range of connected devices. There will also be scope to upskill in several areas as the company prides itself on having a multi-skilled environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop embedded software for R&D projects
- Collaborate with engineers to integrate software with hardware components
- Develop firmware for a range of connected devices
- Work with real-time operating systems and microcontroller-based designs
- 5+ years' experience in embedded software development
- Strong proficiency in C and/or C++ for embedded systems
- Experience with real-time operating systems and microcontroller-based designs
- Familiarity with serial protocols (SPI, I2C, UART) and communication stacks
