Job Title: Financial Accountant

This role involves assisting in the preparation of financial statements and management accounts. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, processing invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial statements and management accounts.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
  • Reconcile bank statements and other accounts.
  • Assist with the preparation of VAT returns and other statutory filings.
  • Support the audit process by providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Liaise with clients to gather information and answer queries.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:

\

You must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role within an accountancy practice. You should also have strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and practices, proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, excellent attention to detail, and high level of accuracy.

\

Additionally, you should have strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, good organisational and time management skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
